SONATA: SCTP Over NAT Adaptation

SONATA was the first project I worked on during my time at the Center for Advanced Internet Architectures, Swinburne University of Technology. The project was funded through a CISCO university grant.

As part of this project we investigated SCTP's particular Network Address Translation (NAT) requirements, proposed solutions, and built the first ever NAT for SCTP in FreeBSD's IPFW firewall. This work has been included with FreeBSD since 8.0.
